Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Domain Developers.

Getting Started

What is Domain Developers?

A matching platform where domain investors and developers partner to turn premium domain names into real businesses. Investors bring the name and the idea; developers bring the build.

How do I get started?

The platform is in early access. Join the waitlist, tell us whether you are an investor or a developer, and we will reach out as matches open up.

Is it free to join?

Joining the waitlist is free. Final pricing has not been announced yet; see the pricing page for where things stand.

For Investors

What kind of domains work best?

Names with real potential: strong keywords, brandable names, or domains you have long held an idea for. You describe the vision, and developers decide whether they want to build it.

Do I give up ownership of my domain?

That is up to the partnership. Specific terms are not set by the platform yet; we will publish partnership templates before launch. Nothing happens to your domain without your agreement.

For Developers

What do I get out of it?

Access to premium domains you could not afford to buy, and a share of the upside when the project succeeds.

Do I need a specific tech stack?

No. Tell us what you build and we will match you with projects that fit your skills.

How Matching Works

How are investors and developers matched?

Investors list a domain with their vision. Developers browse names and ideas worth building on. We introduce the two sides, and they decide together whether to partner.

What does the domain lookup on the home page show?

It is a preview of the data a listing will carry: registration and expiry dates from RDAP, plus monthly visitors and revenue. The lookup is a work in progress.

Privacy & Security

What data do you collect?

Only what you submit on the waitlist form: name, email, and optionally your domains or what you build. See the privacy policy.
